Learn how to use Kaleidoscope analysis software to find a specific bird call or sound within even the most acoustically “busy” recording. We’ll discuss multiple techniques you can use to find a particular animal vocalization or sound of interest within your recordings. Practice using the spectrogram to examine sample files and discover how to fine-tune search parameters to get the best results. BirdNET integration will be also discussed and demonstrated. A Kaleidoscope Pro trial license and sample recordings will be provided for you to “play along” in class.
